Daniel O’Connell is an award-winning photographer based in New York City. He has been capturing stunning images of the city and its people for over 20 years. His work has been featured in numerous publications, including The New York Times, National Geographic, and Time Magazine.

Daniel was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He developed a passion for photography at an early age, and began taking pictures of his friends and family with a simple point-and-shoot camera. As he grew older, he began to explore the city through his lens, capturing its beauty and diversity.

In college, Daniel studied photography at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. After graduating with honors, he began working as a freelance photographer for various publications and companies. His work has taken him around the world to places such as India, Africa, Europe, and South America.

Throughout his career, Daniel has won numerous awards for his photography including the International Photography Award (IPA) in 2018 for his series “The Streets of New York” which documented life on the streets of NYC from a unique perspective. He also won the Lucie Foundation Scholarship Award in 2019 for his series “The Faces of India” which captured portraits of people living in rural India.

Daniel continues to capture stunning images that tell stories about people and places around the world. His work is a testament to his passion for photography and dedication to capturing moments that will last forever.
