Autumn de Wilde is an American photographer and director best known for her iconic music photography and music videos. Born in Los Angeles, California, de Wilde grew up surrounded by the creative energy of the city. She began her career as a photographer in the early 1990s, shooting for magazines such as Spin, Rolling Stone, and The Face.

In 2000, de Wilde released her first book of photography entitled “Autumn de Wilde: Photographs” which featured her work from the past decade. Her work has since been featured in numerous publications including Vogue, Vanity Fair, GQ, and Harper’s Bazaar.

In addition to her photography work, de Wilde has directed music videos for artists such as Beck, Fiona Apple, The White Stripes, and Death Cab for Cutie. Her videos have won awards at the MTV Video Music Awards and have been nominated for Grammy Awards.

De Wilde has also directed feature films including “Echo Park” (2006) and “The Runaways” (2010). She is currently working on a documentary about the life of singer-songwriter Elliott Smith.

De Wilde’s work has been exhibited in galleries around the world including New York City’s International Center of Photography and London’s National Portrait Gallery. She has also been honored with awards from organizations such as American Photography Magazine and PDN Magazine.
