Jean Paul Gaultier pays homage to his archives with an exclusive Summer capsule

Jean Paul Gaultier has released a ready-to-wear collection by revisiting the classics of the house just in time for Summer.

Titled 'Evidemment Jean Paul Gaultier' the capsule encompasses 25 pieces of ready-to-wear, knitwear, swimwear, jewelry, and accessories. Gaultier plays with materials and signature codes of the house. Raw and ultra-western denim, ultra-wide, delicately twisted knits, rhinestones and glitter make up his new creations. Further, paying homage to its Spring-Summer 1994 Les Tatouages ​​show, the banknote print makes a comeback in three versions: palm tree, tattoos and multi-colored.

To mark the launch of the collection, the fashion house has tapped none other than Irina Shayk as the face of its campaign. Inspired by classic tabloids and paparazzi culture, the supermodel was lensed by British photographer Charlotte Wales on the beaches of the French Cote d'Azur.
