Patou opens first flagship in France

French label Patou opened its first store in France on December 14. Located on the 2nd floor of the Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann department store, the 730-square-foot space offers the Fall-Winter 24 Collection and the first pieces from the Spring-Summer 24 Collection.

'We are proud to inaugurate our first store in Paris. PATOU embodies a unique Parisian spirit and we're excited about connecting with our local clientele. Taking this major step with Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann is even more special since they have carried the brand since its relaunch in 2019,' Patou CEO Sophie Brocart said in a statement.

'I'm really excited about opening our fist store in the heart of Paris, a city that's a constant source of inspiration for me,' Patou Artistic Director Guillaume Henry added.

The opening marks Patou's first permanent address in France and reflects it's environmental commitments and vision on transparency and sustainability. Until now it had focused development of its retail footprint on Japan and South Korea, where it has ten standalone boutiques. In France it was only available through its online store as well as department and multibrand stores. It also reflects the brands' .

The Patou store at Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann is open Monday - Saturday from 10:00 - 20:30 and on Sunday from 10:00 - 20:00.
