Guerlain unveils Special edition Bee Bottle dedicated to Chinese New Year

Guerlain has unveiled a special limited edition collection dedicated to Chinese New Year which falls on February 10.

Each year, Guerlain celebrates the astrological sign in the Chinese calendar with a new collaboration. This year to mark the year of the Dragon, a blazing symbol of power and strength, the house has delved into its treasures of heritage and bestiary to reinvent some of it's iconic products for the auspicious occassion.

The Parisian House of High Perfumery and High Cosmetics has enhanced it's legendary Bee Bottle in scarlet red with an opulent dragon gilded in 24-carat gold and decorated with 142 sparkling Swarovski crystals plus a trail of faceted crystals around its graceful neck. Created by Parisian jeweler Francesco Truscelli, it epitomizes the pairing of two emblems, the imperial symbol and the most majestic of legendary creations.

The exquisite Jewel bottle contains Neroli Outrenoir: a scent from its l'Art & La Matiere collection which comprises of notes of neroli, bergamot and petitgrain. The combination of citrus and white flowers notes are complimented by a smoky tea accord that gives the fragrance a dark undertone that is complex and captivating in equal measure.

'Jewellery is woven into the fabric of history and family. We have the privilege of forging ties between the generations by reinventing treasures worn in days gone by,' said Francesco Truscelli.

The Guerlain Rendezvous Bee bottle is a limited numbered edition of 1,855 pieces of 125ml and is presented with a 30ml travel spray and a funnel to pour the fragrance into the spray. It is available now on Guerlain.com and in Guerlain boutiques.
