Afroelle Magazine is a digital magazine celebrating women of African heritage. Founder and Editor in Chief , Patricia Miswa started the magazine as a blog called The Ladies Room in May 2010 after graduating from Daystar University. Since then Afroelle has provided a platform for women in Africa and the Diaspora to showcase their work in their fields and community. Each issue we features entrepreneurs, leaders, influencers and tastemakers making a difference in society.

Afroelle exists to encourage, empower and elevate our readers through highlighting the plight of women in Africa and the Diaspora celebrating their achievements and contributions to their communities. Our magazine features editorials on book, film & music, technology, business, travel, lifestyle, health, art, culture, home décor, fashion. We explore people and places from different African countries and contributor opinions from different parts of the world.
