IOSSELLIANI begins in Rome in 1997 from the gathering of Roberta Paolucci and Paolo Giacomelli.
Both designers�s research is based on new materials; their first collections, in fact have a great success due to the special techniques used during production, such as a fusion of stainless steel mesh and silver as well as hand-carved crystals collection.
In 2005, IOSSELLIANI set up a new workspace in Rome for designers, filmographers, and other artists to share and exchange art-related ideas and projects. One such project is the re-creation of old, traditional Italian jewels into a new luxury line: AU-750-IOS. This new 18k gold collection is the opportunity for IOSSELLIANI to promote their contemporary approach to traditional jewelry-making techniques.
IOSSELLIANI opens its first flagship store in 2004, the second one in Tokyo Shibuya in 2008.
The collections is currently at Barney�s, Joyce, Browns Focus, Lane Crowford, Hp France, Antonioli, Nuyorica, Pool, Princess, American Rag Cie, Harrod's, Curve, Harvey Nichols, Boutique 1.
The Look
Strongly influenced by the Italian classic jewelry, Paolo and Roberta combine their love for vivid materials crafted into modern shapes with the enormous heritage of tradition.
Traditional icons, classic ornaments and modern symbols are then bravely read and translated into a new perception of details, creating a transversal, contemporary jewelry.
