After announcing Ryan Reynolds as it's latest brand ambassador
last month, Piaget launched its first steel watch collection, the 'Polo Piaget S' collection.
The event which was held in New York was hosted by Reynolds and 8 other fellow ambassadors whom Piaget refers to as 'Game Changing' men namely; actor Michael B. Jordan, French chef Jean-Francois Piege, Chinese singer Hu Ge, Belgian tennis player David Goffin, Japanese musician/actor Miyavi, Swiss writer Joel Dicker, British polo player Malcolm Borwick and Emirati entrepreneur Mohammed Sultan Al Habtoor.
Speaking about the new collection Reynolds said, 'One of the things I have in common with this watch is that I like the idea of relaxed luxury, the idea that what you wear with a tuxedo, you can also wear with casual clothes. I really like this timepiece because it's incredibly versatile. I would wear it anywhere'.
The new Piaget Polo S collection has five watches each distinguished by their stainless steel and consistent since its inception in 1979. Equipped with new automatic movements made just for the collection they are priced at $9,350 for Piaget Polo S and $12,400 for the Polo S Chronograph and will be available in stores in September 2016.
