Taylor Swift Scores first ever GQ Cover

Taylor Swift has added another milestone to her long list of already accomplished ones. The 25 year old singer, landed her first-ever cover for GQ's November issue.

Photographed by Michael Thompson, Swift smoulders in a skin-tone, tight-fitting dress leaning against a railing, concealing her her belly button one again. The story "Taylor Swift Rules the World and We Are Her Loyal Subjects," by GQ's Chuck Klosterman, is expected to be released in full next week along with more photos from her beachside shoot in Malibu.

Swift took to Instagram, thanking everyone involved and sharing her excitement. As Klosterman writes about her in the November issue, "If you don't take Swift seriously, you don't take contemporary music seriously...There's simply no antecedent for this kind of career: a cross-genre, youth-oriented, critically acclaimed colossus based entirely on the intuitive songwriting merits of a single female artist. It's as if mid-period Garth Brooks was also early Liz Phair, minus the hat and the swearing. As a phenomenon, it's absolutely new."
