In addition, thousands of original sketches also be shown with mood boards, pictures and different objects. The nearby Majorelle Garden, built by Jacques Majorelle was bought by Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge in 1980. 'When Yves Marakkech in 1966, first visited, it felt so good that he immediately bought a house so he often coming back,' Berge told British newspaper The Telegraph.

The renovation of the museum is run by designers Nathalie Griniere and Jacques Grange, who have done several renovations for the French fashion house.
