Lea Seydoux Is the New Face Of Louis Vuitton

Lea Seydoux is the newest face of Louis Vuitton. The 'Spectre' actress will represent the luxury label as its brand ambassador and will appear in the line's upcoming campaigns.

Louis Vuitton announced the new collaboration via its Instagram account with a black and white portrait shot of Seydoux lensed by Alasdair McLellan (pictured above) and the caption '#LouisVuitton is pleased to announce that French actress Lea Seydoux (@leaseydoux_genuine) is the new face of the House.' Seydoux later shared the same picture with her Instagram fans and how proud she was on her new role as brand ambassador.

'I feel extremely proud at the thought of representing such a strong symbol of French elegance, an iconic brand whose initials are known the world over,' Seydoux said in a press release. 'I deeply admire Nicolas Ghesquiere's work, especially his newness. His incessant search for novelty is also highly impressive.'

As part of her official duties she accompanied Nicolas Ghesquiere, Vuitton's artistic director of women's collections, to the Unicef Ball in Los Angeles on Jan. 12 wearing an outfit custom-made for her. She now joins a high profile list, of fellow American actresses Michelle Williams and Jennifer Connelly as well as the Swedish actress Alicia Vikander who have been ambassadors for the brand.

This is not the first time that the Parisian actress is the face of a luxury brand. She has appeared in campaigns for Miu Miu and Prada.
