Gucci launches its debut Pet collection



Gucci is venturing into Pet wear.

The Italian luxury brand announced its first ever Pet collection for dogs and cats. Inspired by an underlying vision of individuality by Alessandro Michele, the collection encompasses of a versatile selection of ready-to-wear, accessories, and decor objects to amplify the personalities of our furry friends.

The new line has leather collars and harnesses featuring the iconic GG canvas, web stripe, interlocking G logo print, Herbarium pattern and other signature Gucci design touches.

There are also leather Air Tag cases and waste bag holders, made-to-order miniature couches on which pets can lounge, hard-sided cases with removable ceramic feeding bowls, silver-toned brass bowl covers, matching feeding mats and travel carriers. Additionally, there are polos, t-shirts, knitwear and coats for Pets to twin with their human parents. Most of the items in the collection can be perfectly combined with each other.

In line with Gucci's commitment to sustainability, the Collection features items made from recycled polyester, recycled cotton or Demetrai - Gucci's groundbreaking material made primarily from animal-free raw materials, most of which come from renewable and bio-based sources

To accompany the release of the collection a colorful retro campaign images featuring dreamy portraits of dogs and cats lensed by Namibian-German artist and designer Max Siedentopf has been released.
