Vijat Mohindra is an award-winning photographer and director based in Los Angeles, California. He is best known for his vibrant and colorful celebrity portraiture, which has been featured in publications such as Vogue, GQ, Vanity Fair, and Rolling Stone.

Born in India in 1984, Mohindra moved to the United States at the age of seven. He grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and developed an early interest in photography. After graduating from high school, he attended Columbia College Chicago where he earned a degree in photography.

In 2008, Mohindra moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a professional photographer. His first major break came when he was hired by Vogue magazine to shoot a series of celebrity portraits for their "Young Hollywood" issue. Since then, he has become one of the most sought-after photographers in Hollywood, shooting covers for magazines such as GQ and Vanity Fair as well as campaigns for brands like Nike and Adidas.

In addition to his commercial work, Mohindra has also directed music videos for artists such as Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. He has also collaborated with fashion designers such as Jeremy Scott and Alexander Wang on various projects. In 2017, he was named one of Variety's "10 Cinematographers to Watch."

Mohindra's work has been exhibited around the world including at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) Los Angeles and The National Portrait Gallery in London. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
