Todd Cole is an American photographer and director based in Los Angeles. He is known for his vibrant, cinematic images that capture the beauty of everyday life.

Born in Texas, Todd Cole developed an early interest in photography and filmmaking. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Texas at Austin where he studied film and photography. After college, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in photography and filmmaking.

In Los Angeles, Todd Cole quickly established himself as a sought-after photographer and director. His work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, GQ, W Magazine, Nylon Magazine, and The New York Times Magazine. He has also directed music videos for artists such as Beck, The Black Keys, and The Kills.

In addition to his commercial work, Todd Cole has also created several personal projects that explore themes of identity and self-expression. His series “The American West” was exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles in 2014. In 2016 he released his first book “The American West: Photographs by Todd Cole” which was published by Aperture Books.

Todd Cole continues to push the boundaries of photography with his unique vision and creative approach to image making. He is currently working on several new projects that explore themes of identity and self-expression through the lens of contemporary culture.
