About

Steven Lyon is an American photographer and artist based in Los Angeles, California. He is best known for his fashion and portrait photography, which often features a strong emphasis on the human form.

Born in San Francisco, California in 1975, Steven developed an interest in photography at a young age. He began taking pictures of his friends and family with a 35mm camera he received as a gift from his parents. After graduating from high school, he attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco where he studied photography and fine art.

In 2000, Steven moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career as a professional photographer. His work quickly gained recognition and he was soon shooting for major fashion magazines such as Vogue, Elle, GQ, and Harper’s Bazaar. He has also shot campaigns for major brands such as Nike, Adidas, Puma, and Levi’s.

In addition to his commercial work, Steven has also created several personal projects that explore themes of identity and sexuality. His work has been exhibited in galleries around the world including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.

Steven continues to push boundaries with his photography by exploring new techniques and ideas. He is currently working on several new projects that will be released later this year.
