Sohrab Golsorkhi-Ainslie is an award-winning photographer and filmmaker based in London. He has worked on a variety of projects, from documentary films to commercial photography.

Born in Tehran, Iran, Sohrab moved to the UK at the age of nine. He studied photography at the University of Westminster and went on to work as a freelance photographer for publications such as The Guardian, The Times, and The Independent.

In 2010, Sohrab was awarded the prestigious Royal Photographic Society's Vic Odden Award for his work on a project documenting the lives of Afghan refugees living in Iran. His work has also been featured in exhibitions around the world, including at the National Portrait Gallery in London and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tehran.

In addition to his photographic work, Sohrab has directed several short films and documentaries. His most recent film, 'The Last Day', was nominated for Best Documentary Short at the 2020 BAFTA Awards.

Sohrab's work is known for its intimate portrayal of people and places around the world. He is passionate about telling stories that are often overlooked by mainstream media outlets and strives to create meaningful connections between his subjects and viewers through his art.
