Richie Shazam is an American photographer and visual artist based in New York City. He is best known for his vibrant, colorful, and often surreal images that explore themes of identity, gender, and sexuality.

Shazam was born in the Bronx, New York in 1988. He grew up surrounded by art and music, which heavily influenced his creative style. After graduating from high school, he attended the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan where he studied photography and video production.

In 2010, Shazam began to gain recognition for his work when he was featured in a group exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Since then, his work has been featured in numerous galleries around the world including the Tate Modern in London and the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao. His photographs have also been published in magazines such as Vogue and W Magazine.

In addition to his photography career, Shazam has also worked as a fashion designer for brands such as Nike and Adidas. He has also collaborated with musicians such as Solange Knowles on music videos and album covers. In 2020, he released a book of photographs titled “The Colorful World of Richie Shazam” which showcases some of his most iconic images from over the years.

Shazam’s work continues to be celebrated for its unique vision and ability to capture moments that are both beautiful and thought-provoking. His photographs have become an important part of contemporary art culture and will continue to inspire generations to come.
