Raúl Ruz is a Chilean photographer and visual artist whose work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world. Born in Santiago, Chile in 1965, Raúl began his career as a photographer in the late 1980s. He studied photography at the University of Chile and later at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.

Raúl's work is characterized by its strong sense of composition and its ability to capture moments of everyday life. His photographs often feature people from his native Chile, as well as other Latin American countries. He has also traveled extensively throughout Europe, Africa, and Asia to capture images that reflect the diversity of cultures around the world.

Raúl's photographs have been featured in numerous publications including The New York Times Magazine, National Geographic, and Time Magazine. His work has also been exhibited at galleries and museums such as The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City, The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Los Angeles, and The Photographers' Gallery in London.

In addition to his photographic work, Raúl is also an accomplished filmmaker. He has directed several short films that have been screened at film festivals around the world. His most recent film project was a documentary about Chilean immigrants living in New York City titled "Chilean Dreams".

Raúl currently lives and works between Santiago de Chile and New York City. He continues to explore new ways to express himself through photography and film while maintaining his commitment to capturing moments that reflect the beauty of everyday life.
