He attended the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he studied photography and graphic design. After graduating, he worked as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers. His work has been featured in publications such as Time Magazine, The New York Times, and The Guardian.

Pine's work focuses on capturing the unique culture of Hong Kong through its people, architecture, and street scenes. He is known for his ability to capture the energy of the city in his photographs. His work has been exhibited around the world, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
