Park Kisook is a South Korean photographer and visual artist based in Seoul. She is best known for her work exploring the relationship between people and their environment, often through the use of natural light and muted colors.

Kisook began her career as a photographer in 2011, when she was accepted into the prestigious Seoul Institute of the Arts. During her time there, she developed an interest in documentary photography, which she pursued further after graduating in 2014. Her first major project was a series of photographs documenting the lives of North Korean refugees living in South Korea. This project earned her recognition from both local and international media outlets, including The New York Times and The Guardian.

Since then, Kisook has gone on to create a number of acclaimed projects that explore themes such as identity, memory, and belonging. Her work has been exhibited at galleries around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Tate Modern in London. In addition to her photography projects, Kisook also works as a freelance commercial photographer for clients such as Samsung and Hyundai Motors.

Kisook's work has been featured in numerous publications including Vogue Korea, Harper's Bazaar Korea, Elle Korea, Marie Claire Korea, W Magazine Korea, L'Officiel Singapore and many more. She has also been awarded several prestigious awards for her work including the Grand Prize at the 2018 Seoul International Photography Festival and Best Documentary Photographer at the 2019 International Photography Awards.

Kisook continues to push boundaries with her photography by exploring new ways to capture emotion through light and color. Her work is an exploration of how we interact with our environment on both an individual level as well as a collective one.
