Mitsuaki Murata is a Japanese photographer who has been capturing stunning images of nature and wildlife for over 30 years. Born in Tokyo, Japan in 1965, Murata developed an early interest in photography and began taking pictures of his surroundings at a young age.

Murata's passion for photography led him to pursue a degree in the field from Tokyo University of the Arts. After graduating, he began working as a freelance photographer, specializing in nature and wildlife photography. His work has been featured in numerous publications, including National Geographic and Time Magazine.

Murata's photographs have earned him numerous awards, including the prestigious Fuji Film Award for Nature Photography. He has also been honored with several solo exhibitions around the world, including at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography and the International Center of Photography in New York City.
