Michele Aboud is one of Australia’s most-respected commercial, fashion and portrait photographers.

A graduate of the Photographic College of London and UCLA, her extensive editorial work has been published in Interview [USA]; Wired [USA]; Grazia [UK and Australia]; Elle [Singapore, Mexico and Australia]; Harpers Bazaar [Singapore and Australia];

Vogue and Vogue Living [Australia]; Oyster; Rolling Stone; Noise; Australian Style; Belle; KAREN and Manuscript. Her international commercial campaign portfolio includes clients such as Bloomingdales, Lancôme, Marks & Spencer, VISA, Lindt Chocolate, Ferrero Chocolate, Toyota, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, Nokia, Johnson & Johnson and Singapore’s Club 21.

Noted for her striking portraiture, over the past 25 years Aboud has focused her lens on such boldface political and pop culture figures as Lina Wertmüller, Frank Stella, Imran Khan, Gough Whitlam, Wim Wenders, Rutger Hauer, Tom Jones, Harry Connick Jr, Baz Lurhmann, Cate Blanchett, Tracey Moffatt, Debbie Harry, Jerry Hall, Amber Valetta, Miranda Kerr, Catherine McNeal and Miranda Otto.

Aboud’s work has been featured in 13 exhibitions from London to Toronto and Sydney, including Amnesty International’s Masters of Photography [2009] and the Nelson Mandela Art for AIDS Orphans, Canada [2007-2010].

Aboud’s portrait of Baz Lurhmann is now part of the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery Canberra, ACT.

Michele Aboud is an Australian-born photographer and filmmaker who has been capturing the beauty of the world for over two decades. She has traveled to over 50 countries, shooting everything from fashion to documentary work. Her work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, and Harper's Bazaar.

Michele was born in Sydney, Australia in 1975. She developed a passion for photography at a young age and began taking pictures of her family and friends. After graduating high school, she attended the University of Technology Sydney where she studied photography and film production.

In 2000, Michele moved to New York City to pursue her career as a professional photographer. She quickly established herself as one of the most sought-after photographers in the city, shooting for some of the biggest names in fashion including Calvin Klein and Donna Karan. Her work has also been featured in campaigns for major brands such as Nike and Adidas.

In addition to her commercial work, Michele is also an accomplished documentary photographer. She has traveled around the world capturing stories from places such as India, Africa, South America, and Europe. Her documentary work has been featured on National Geographic Channel and BBC World News.

Michele's passion for photography continues to drive her creative vision today. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children where she continues to capture stunning images that tell stories from around the world.
