Matt Holyoak is a British photographer who has been working in the industry for over 20 years. He is best known for his work in portraiture, having photographed some of the world’s most famous faces including the Queen, Barack Obama and David Beckham.

Born in London in 1975, Matt developed an interest in photography from a young age. After studying photography at college, he went on to work as an assistant to renowned photographer Rankin before setting up his own studio in 2001. Since then, he has become one of the most sought-after photographers in the UK and beyond.

Matt’s work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, GQ and Vanity Fair and he has also shot campaigns for brands including Nike, Adidas and Burberry. His photographs have been exhibited around the world and he was awarded an Honorary Fellowship of The Royal Photographic Society in 2017.

In addition to his commercial work, Matt is passionate about documentary photography and has undertaken several long-term projects exploring social issues such as poverty and homelessness. He also works with charities such as The Prince’s Trust to help young people develop their creative skills.

Matt continues to push boundaries with his photography and is constantly looking for new ways to tell stories through his images. He is widely respected within the industry for his technical skill and creative vision.
