Maria Dawlat is a renowned photographer and visual artist based in the United Kingdom. She has been capturing stunning images of people, places, and things for over a decade. Her work has been featured in numerous publications, including Vogue, The Guardian, and The New York Times.

Born in London to a family of Syrian immigrants, Maria was exposed to art from an early age. She developed an interest in photography at the age of 12 when she received her first camera as a gift from her father. From then on, she was hooked and began taking pictures of her friends and family.

In her late teens, Maria attended the University of Westminster where she studied photography and visual arts. After graduating with honors in 2008, she began working as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers. Her work quickly gained recognition for its unique style and composition.

In 2012, Maria released her first book titled “The Art of Seeing” which showcased some of her most iconic images from around the world. Since then she has gone on to exhibit her work in galleries across Europe and North America. In addition to photography, Maria also works as a lecturer at several universities teaching courses on photography and visual arts.
