About

Margherita Angeli is an Italian photographer and visual artist based in Milan. She has been working in the field of photography since the early 2000s, and her work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and publications around the world.

Angeli's work is characterized by its dreamy, surrealistic aesthetic, often featuring elements of nature and the human form. Her photographs explore themes of identity, memory, and emotion, often blurring the boundaries between reality and fantasy. She has a particular interest in exploring how photography can be used to capture moments of beauty and emotion that are otherwise fleeting or ephemeral.

Angeli's work has been exhibited at galleries and museums around the world, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome, the Palazzo Reale in Milan, and the Fondazione Prada in Venice. Her photographs have also been featured in publications such as Vogue Italia, Marie Claire Italy, Glamour Italy, L'Uomo Vogue, and The New York Times Magazine.

In addition to her photographic practice, Angeli is also a professor at Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Milan where she teaches courses on photography and visual communication. She is also a member of several professional organizations including AIPAD (Association of International Photography Art Dealers) and Fotografia Italiana Contemporanea (FIC).
