Maren Schabhüser is a German photographer and visual artist based in Berlin. She is known for her unique and captivating images that explore the relationship between people and their environment.

Schabhüser was born in Berlin in 1983. She studied photography at the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld, Germany, where she graduated with a degree in photography and media art. After graduating, she worked as a freelance photographer for several years before establishing her own studio in Berlin.

Schabhüser’s work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world, including at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Los Angeles. Her photographs have also been published in various magazines such as Vogue, GQ, and Harper’s Bazaar.

In addition to her photography work, Schabhüser has also created video installations that explore themes such as identity and memory. Her work often combines elements of documentary filmmaking with experimental techniques to create unique visual experiences.

Schabhüser’s work has been recognized with numerous awards including the International Photography Award (IPA), the Prix de la Photographie Paris (PX3), and the Sony World Photography Award. She continues to push boundaries with her creative vision and is considered one of Germany’s most influential photographers today.
