Laura Jane Coulson is a British photographer and visual artist based in London. She is best known for her vibrant and emotive portraiture, which often explores themes of identity, gender, and sexuality.

Coulson was born in London in 1988. She developed an interest in photography at a young age, and began taking pictures of her friends and family when she was just 12 years old. After graduating from high school, she studied photography at the University of Westminster, where she earned a BA in Photography & Visual Arts.

Since then, Coulson has gone on to become one of the most sought-after photographers in the UK. Her work has been featured in numerous publications including Vogue, Dazed & Confused, i-D Magazine, and The Guardian. She has also exhibited her work at galleries around the world including the Tate Modern in London and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.

In addition to her photography career, Coulson is also an active member of the LGBTQ+ community. She often uses her art to explore issues related to gender identity and sexuality. Her work has been praised for its ability to capture intimate moments that challenge traditional notions of beauty and identity.
