Laura Jane Coulson is a British photographer and visual artist based in London. She is best known for her vibrant and emotive portraiture, which often explores themes of identity, gender, and sexuality.
Coulson was born in London in 1988. She developed an interest in photography at a young age, and began taking pictures of her friends and family when she was just 12 years old. After graduating from high school, she studied photography at the University of Westminster, where she earned a BA in Photography & Visual Arts.
Since then, Coulson has gone on to become one of the most sought-after photographers in the UK. Her work has been featured in numerous publications including Vogue, Dazed & Confused, i-D Magazine, and The Guardian.
