Kazim Gunyar is a Turkish photographer and visual artist based in Istanbul. He is best known for his unique style of photography, which combines elements of documentary, street, and fine art photography.

Gunyar was born in Istanbul in 1982 and grew up in the city's vibrant cultural scene. He developed an early interest in photography and began taking pictures at the age of 14. After graduating from high school, he studied photography at the Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts in Istanbul.

In 2006, Gunyar began to focus on documentary photography and started to work on long-term projects that explored social issues such as poverty, migration, and identity. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world, including at the Istanbul Modern Art Museum and the Photographers' Gallery in London.
