Julien Capmeil is a French photographer and visual artist based in Paris. He is best known for his unique and creative approach to photography, which combines elements of fashion, documentary, and fine art.

Born in Paris in 1982, Julien developed an early interest in photography. He began taking pictures at the age of 12, and by the time he was 16 he had already won several awards for his work. After graduating from high school, Julien attended the prestigious École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris where he studied photography and visual arts.

After graduating from art school, Julien began working as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers. His work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, Elle, GQ, The New York Times Magazine, and many others. He has also worked with numerous fashion brands including Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada and more.

In addition to his commercial work, Julien has also created several personal projects that explore themes such as identity and memory. His work has been exhibited in galleries around the world including the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

Julien's work is characterized by its unique blend of documentary realism and surrealism.
