John Yuyi is a Taiwanese-born, New York-based photographer and multimedia artist. She is best known for her self-portraits, which often feature her body adorned with intricate tattoos and colorful makeup. Her work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, The New York Times, and The Guardian.

Yuyi was born in Taiwan in 1988 and moved to the United States at the age of 18 to pursue a degree in fashion design from Parsons School of Design. After graduating, she began working as a freelance photographer and quickly gained recognition for her unique style of portraiture. Her work often explores themes of identity, beauty, and culture through the use of vibrant colors and bold visuals.

In addition to her photography work, Yuyi has also created several short films that have been featured at film festivals around the world. She has also collaborated with brands such as Nike, Apple Music, and Adobe on various projects. In 2020, she was named one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia list for her contributions to the art world.

Yuyi currently lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two cats. When she’s not creating art or traveling for work, she enjoys spending time with friends and exploring new places.
