After graduating from high school, he attended the Seoul Institute of the Arts where he studied photography and film.

In 2000, Jo Se Yong began his professional career as a freelance photographer and quickly gained recognition for his unique style and eye-catching compositions. His work has been featured in numerous publications including Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and GQ. He has also had solo exhibitions at galleries around the world including New York City, London, Tokyo, and Seoul.
