Ji Yang Kim is a Korean-born photographer based in New York City. He is known for his vibrant and colorful images that capture the beauty of everyday life. His work has been featured in numerous publications, including The New York Times, Vogue, and Harper's Bazaar.

Kim was born in Seoul, South Korea in 1985. He moved to the United States at the age of 16 to pursue his passion for photography. After graduating from high school, he attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography.

Since then, Kim has become an established photographer whose work has been exhibited around the world. His photographs have been featured in solo exhibitions at galleries such as the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and the International Center of Photography (ICP). He has also had his work published in books such as “The World Through My Eyes” and “The Beauty of Life”.

Kim’s photography focuses on capturing moments that are often overlooked or forgotten. He seeks to capture beauty and emotion through his lens, creating images that are both visually stunning and emotionally powerful. His work often features vibrant colors and unique perspectives that draw viewers into his world.

In addition to his photography career, Kim is also an active member of the Korean-American community in New York City. He regularly volunteers with organizations such as K-Town Youth Empowerment Program (KYEP) which helps young people from immigrant backgrounds find their place within their new home city.
