Jesus Alonso is a Mexican photographer and visual artist based in Mexico City. He is best known for his work in fashion, portraiture, and documentary photography.

Alonso was born in Mexico City in 1985. He began his career as a photographer at the age of 18, when he started working as an assistant to a professional photographer. After gaining experience and honing his skills, he began to take on freelance assignments for magazines and advertising campaigns.

In 2010, Alonso was awarded the prestigious National Photography Award from the Mexican government for his work in fashion photography. This recognition helped him to gain international recognition and led to collaborations with some of the world’s leading fashion brands such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Dior.

Alonso’s work has been featured in numerous publications including Vogue Mexico, Harper’s Bazaar Mexico, Elle Mexico, GQ Mexico, and many others. His photographs have also been exhibited at galleries around the world including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.
