About

Hilary Walsh is an award-winning photographer and visual artist based in New York City. She has been capturing the beauty of the world around her since she was a child, and her work has been featured in numerous publications, including National Geographic, The New York Times, and The Guardian.

Walsh's passion for photography began when she was just a young girl growing up in rural Pennsylvania. She was inspired by the natural beauty of the landscape around her and began to take pictures of it with her father's old camera. From there, she developed a love for capturing moments that would otherwise be forgotten.

Walsh attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City where she earned her BFA in Photography. After graduating, she worked as a freelance photographer for various publications before eventually launching her own business. Her work has taken her all over the world, from India to Africa to South America.

In addition to being an accomplished photographer, Walsh is also an active member of the photography community. She regularly speaks at conferences and workshops on topics related to photography and visual storytelling. She also serves as a mentor for aspiring photographers who are looking to break into the industry.

Walsh's work has been recognized with numerous awards including the International Photography Awards, PDN Photo Annual Awards, and American Photography Awards. Her photographs have been exhibited in galleries across the United States and Europe as well as featured in books such as "The Art of Seeing" (2018) and "The Art of Storytelling" (2020).
