Henrique Gendre is a Brazilian photographer and visual artist based in São Paulo. He has been working in the field of photography since the early 2000s, and his work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and publications around the world.

Gendre's work is characterized by its strong sense of composition, color, and light. He often uses natural elements such as trees, plants, and water to create a sense of harmony between the subject and its environment. His photographs often explore themes of identity, memory, and nostalgia.

Gendre has had solo exhibitions at galleries in Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, and the United States. His work has also been featured in publications such as The New York Times Magazine, Vogue Italia, Harper's Bazaar Brazil, L'Officiel Hommes Brazil, GQ Brazil, Marie Claire Brazil among others.

In addition to his photography career Gendre is also an active member of the Brazilian art community. He is a founding member of Fotoativa – an organization dedicated to promoting photography as an art form in Brazil – and he regularly participates in workshops and lectures on photography throughout Latin America.

Gendre's work has been recognized with numerous awards including the International Photography Awards (IPA) for Fine Art Landscape Photography (2015), Latin American Fotografia Award (2016), Prix de la Photographie Paris (PX3) for Fine Art Landscape Photography (2017), International Color Awards for Fine Art Landscape Photography (2018), among others.
