Harmony Korine is an American filmmaker, photographer, and artist. He was born in Bolinas, California in 1973 and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. He began his career as a teenager when he wrote the screenplay for the 1995 film Kids. His other notable works include Gummo (1997), Julien Donkey-Boy (1999), Mister Lonely (2007), Trash Humpers (2009), and Spring Breakers (2012).

Korine's photography has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world, including at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. His work often focuses on youth culture and explores themes of alienation, identity, and sexuality. He has also collaborated with fashion designers such as Marc Jacobs and Comme des Garçons.
