Giulia Hooiveld is a Dutch photographer and visual artist based in Amsterdam. She is known for her unique and captivating style of photography, which often combines elements of nature, architecture, and the human form.

Giulia was born in the Netherlands in 1988. She developed an interest in photography at a young age, and began taking pictures with her father's camera when she was just eight years old. After graduating from high school, she studied photography at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. During her studies, she developed a passion for capturing the beauty of everyday life through her lens.

After graduating from the Royal Academy of Art, Giulia began working as a freelance photographer. She has since worked with numerous clients including fashion magazines, advertising agencies, and art galleries. Her work has been featured in publications such as Vogue Italia and Elle Magazine. In addition to commercial work, Giulia also creates personal projects that explore themes such as identity and femininity.

Giulia's work has been exhibited internationally at galleries such as Foam Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam and The Photographers' Gallery in London. In 2020 she was awarded the Foam Paul Huf Award for emerging photographers. Her work has also been recognized by organizations such as World Press Photo and Sony World Photography Awards.

Giulia continues to push boundaries with her photography by exploring new techniques and ideas that challenge traditional notions of beauty and identity.
