Born in Berlin in 1971, Esther developed an early interest in photography and began taking pictures at a young age. She studied photography at the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld, Germany, where she graduated with honors in 1997.

Since then, Esther has gone on to become one of Germany's most renowned photographers. Her work has been featured in numerous publications and exhibitions around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. She is also a regular contributor to magazines such as Vogue, Elle, and GQ.
