Elaine Constantine is a British photographer and filmmaker best known for her work in the music industry. She has photographed some of the biggest names in music, including Oasis, The Stone Roses, and The Verve.

Born in Manchester, England in 1965, Elaine developed an interest in photography at an early age. She studied photography at Manchester Polytechnic and then went on to work as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers. Her work soon caught the attention of the music industry and she began to specialize in photographing musicians.

Elaine's photographs have been featured on album covers, posters, and other promotional materials for many of the biggest names in music. She has also worked with fashion designers such as Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen. In addition to her photography work, Elaine has directed several music videos for artists such as The Chemical Brothers and Primal Scream.

In recent years, Elaine has turned her attention to filmmaking. Her first feature film was Northern Soul (2014), which was based on her own experiences growing up in Manchester during the 1970s. The film was critically acclaimed and won several awards at international film festivals. Her second feature film was Strangeways Here We Come (2017), which tells the story of a group of friends who form a band during the punk rock era of Manchester's musical history.

Elaine continues to be an influential figure in both photography and filmmaking today. Her work is celebrated for its unique style that captures both the energy of youth culture as well as its underlying social issues.
