David Armstrong is an American photographer and artist known for his vibrant, dreamlike images of the urban landscape. Born in New York City in 1954, Armstrong grew up surrounded by the city's vibrant culture and energy. He began taking photographs at a young age, and soon developed a unique style that blended elements of street photography with surrealism.

Armstrong's work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world, including shows at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
