Cole Sprouse is an American actor and photographer best known for his role as Cody Martin on the Disney Channel series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and its spinoff, The Suite Life on Deck. He also starred in the television series Riverdale as Jughead Jones.
Sprouse was born in Arezzo, Italy, to American parents Matthew Sprouse and Melanie Wright. He has a twin brother, Dylan Sprouse, who is also an actor. The twins began their acting career at the age of eight months when they appeared in a commercial for diapers. They went on to appear in several other commercials before landing their first major role in 1999's Big Daddy alongside Adam Sandler.
In 2005, the twins starred in their own Disney Channel show, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. The show was a huge success and ran for three seasons until 2008. After that, they starred in its spinoff series The Suite Life on Deck which ran until 2011. During this time, Cole also made guest appearances on shows such as Friends and That's So Raven.
In 2017, Cole began starring as Jughead Jones on the CW's hit show Riverdale which is based off of the Archie Comics series. He has since become one of the show's most popular characters and has been nominated for several awards including two Teen Choice Awards for Choice TV Actor: Drama and Choice TV Ship (for his relationship with Lili Reinhart's character Betty Cooper).
In addition to acting, Cole is also an accomplished photographer who has had his work featured in publications such as Vogue Italia and L'Uomo Vogue. His photography focuses mainly on portraiture and fashion photography with a focus on capturing natural beauty through candid shots of everyday people.
