Charbel Saade is a Lebanese photographer and visual artist based in Beirut. He has been capturing the beauty of his homeland for over a decade, creating stunning images that capture the essence of Lebanon’s culture and history.

Saade was born in Beirut in 1982 and grew up surrounded by the city’s vibrant culture. He developed an early interest in photography, which he pursued throughout his teenage years. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts where he studied photography and visual arts.

In 2006, Saade began to focus on documentary photography, capturing the everyday life of people living in Lebanon. His work has been featured in numerous publications including The New York Times, The Guardian, and National Geographic. He has also exhibited his work at galleries around the world including London’s Tate Modern and Paris’ Centre Pompidou.

In addition to his photographic work, Saade is also an active member of the Lebanese art community. He regularly participates in workshops and lectures on photography and visual arts, as well as curating exhibitions for local galleries. His commitment to promoting Lebanese art has earned him numerous awards including the prestigious Abraaj Group Art Prize in 2016.

Today, Saade continues to capture Lebanon’s beauty through his lens while inspiring others to do the same through his teaching and mentorship. His work is a testament to his passion for preserving Lebanon’s culture and history for future generations to enjoy.
