Buck Ellison is an American photographer and filmmaker based in New York City. He is best known for his work exploring the intersection of identity, class, and culture.
Ellison was born in San Francisco, California in 1984. He attended the University of California, Berkeley where he studied photography and film. After graduating in 2006, he moved to New York City to pursue a career in photography.
Ellison's work has been featured in numerous publications including The New Yorker, The New York Times Magazine, GQ, Vogue, and W Magazine.
