Branislav Simoncik is a Slovakian photographer and visual artist. He was born in Bratislava, Slovakia in 1975. He studied photography at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, graduating in 2000.

Simoncik's work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. His photographs have also been featured in numerous publications such as The New York Times Magazine, Vogue Italia, and Harper's Bazaar.

Simoncik's work is characterized by its use of vibrant colors and surrealistic elements. He often combines traditional photography with digital manipulation to create unique images that explore themes of identity and memory. His photographs often feature people from his native Slovakia as well as other parts of Europe.

In addition to his photographic work, Simoncik has also created several short films that have been screened at film festivals around the world. He has also collaborated with fashion designers on various projects. In 2017 he was awarded the Grand Prix at the International Festival of Photography in Bratislava for his series "The Unseen".

Simoncik currently lives and works in Bratislava where he continues to create new works that explore themes of identity and memory through photography and film.
