Asger Mortensen is a Danish photographer who has been capturing stunning images of the world around him for over 30 years. Born in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1965, Asger developed an early interest in photography and began taking pictures at the age of 12. After graduating from high school, he attended the Danish School of Photography and Film in Copenhagen, where he studied under renowned photographers such as Henrik Saxgren and Jørgen Leth.

Asger's work has been featured in numerous publications including National Geographic, The New York Times Magazine, and Time Magazine. He has also exhibited his work at galleries around the world including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.

Asger's photography focuses on capturing moments of beauty and emotion that often go unnoticed by most people. His images are often characterized by their vivid colors and unique perspectives. He is particularly known for his landscape photography which captures stunning views of nature from all over the world.

In addition to his photography career, Asger is also an accomplished author having written several books on photography including "The Art of Seeing" (2005) and "The Art of Light" (2008). He currently lives in Copenhagen with his wife and two children where he continues to capture beautiful images that inspire viewers around the world.
