Anna Vatheuer is a German photographer and visual artist based in Berlin. She is known for her unique and captivating images that explore the relationship between people and their environment.

Anna was born in Berlin in 1982, and grew up surrounded by art and culture. She developed an early interest in photography, which she pursued throughout her schooling. After graduating from high school, she studied photography at the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld, Germany.

During her studies, Anna developed a passion for documentary photography, which she has continued to pursue throughout her career. Her work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.

Anna's work often focuses on themes of identity, belonging, and displacement. She has traveled extensively to capture images of people living on the margins of society, from refugees to homeless people to those living with disabilities. Her photographs are often intimate portraits that capture both the beauty and fragility of life.
