Andrea D'Aquino is an Italian photographer and visual artist based in Rome. He is best known for his vibrant and colorful images of everyday life, which often feature a mix of urban and rural landscapes.

Born in Rome in 1982, Andrea developed an interest in photography at a young age. He began taking pictures of his family and friends, as well as the city around him. After graduating from high school, he studied photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. During this time, he developed a passion for capturing the beauty of everyday life through his lens.

In 2006, Andrea began to focus on documentary photography and photojournalism. He traveled to various countries around the world to capture stories that were often overlooked by mainstream media outlets. His work has been featured in publications such as National Geographic, The New York Times Magazine, and The Guardian.

In recent years, Andrea has shifted his focus to fine art photography. His work often features vibrant colors and surrealistic elements that explore themes such as identity, memory, and nostalgia. His photographs have been exhibited in galleries across Europe and the United States. In 2020, he was awarded the prestigious Prix Pictet award for his series “The Unseen” which explores the hidden beauty of everyday life through a unique visual language.

Andrea continues to push boundaries with his work by exploring new techniques and mediums such as digital art and video installations. He is currently working on several projects that explore themes such as migration, displacement, and identity in contemporary society.
