Alexey Kolpakov is a Russian photographer and visual artist based in Moscow. He is best known for his stunning landscape photography, which captures the beauty of the Russian countryside and its people.

Kolpakov was born in Moscow in 1982 and grew up surrounded by the city's vibrant culture. From an early age, he was drawn to photography, taking pictures of his friends and family as well as the city's architecture. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts, where he studied photography and film.
