Naomi Campbell rubbishes snapper assault reports

Washington, Aug 4 : British supermodel Naomi Campbell has rubbished reports claiming she assaulted a photographer in Italy last year.
Gaetano Di Giovanni claims Campbell slapped him and hit him with her handbag while she was holidaying with boyfriend Vladislav Doronin on the island of Lipari, reports Contactmusic.
The apparent assault, Giovanni said, left his face scratched and bruised.
Di Giovanni told Italian newspaper La Repubblica, "First she hit with her bag, screaming at me and then she tried to slap me. I managed to avoid her - but her nails still got my eye (sic).
"For a few seconds I could not see a thing. I could hear that her bodyguards and her boyfriend were trying to drag her away."
However, the stunner's spokesperson has dismissed the claims, insisting: "Media reports circulating that Naomi Campbell attacked a photographer in Lipari, Sicily, are completely untrue."
