Coco Rocha\'s Irish Dance at Art Walk NY

The 17th annual Art Walk NYC occured last night in NY. The event was to benefit the Coalition for the Homeless. The Coalition for the Homeless is the nation's oldest advocacy and direct service organization helping homeless men, women, and children. For 30 years, the Coalition for the Homeless has developed and implemented humane, cost-effective strategies to end mass homelessness in New York City. Their model programs represent solutions that can dramatically reduce the homeless population and prevent homelessness among those most at risk.

The event was sponsored by Fendi and occured at the Skylight studio Soho. It included live and silent auctions as well as a cocktail party for the attendees. The event also featured the Robert Rauschenberg foundation's "Artist as Activist" print project. Co-chairs of the event were Richard Gere and Alec Baldwin, and Carey Lowell who sat front row during most of the auctions. Alec Baldwin auctioned away kisses for $1000 a piece. Coco Rocha was the honorary chair person for the event and performed a lovely irish jig in front of the crowd as she had promised if they were able to raise $35,000. The crowd looked on with delight as the Coco danced away. Is there anything she's not good at? Coco was also at the same location, the Skylight Soho the night before to celebrate the Vogue/CFDA fashion fund awards.
